It's possible to walk there from Colindale tubestation, Hendon tubestation, but it's a 20-30 mins walk!

Buses 113 (towards Edgware) and 186 (towards Northwick Park) go from Hendon Central (tubestation) (which is also in zone 3, so it's cheaper to get there than Colindale...)
Bus 113 also stops at Brent Cross.
(number 113 goes all the way from town I think)
I live a 10 mins walk from uni, so if you arrive in Golders Green, you can get on number 183 to uni and walk from there!

From Golders Green you can also walk down The Vale and get on 113 (towards Edgware) from Hendon Way to my place.
